We got a lot of great feedback in the comments. It sounds like the consensus is that the game was too easy, and the scaling for the endless mode was all out of wack! This is just a quick patch with balance changes, no new content. 

All items now scale linearly instead of multiplicatively 

Armor items have been changed to max health increases, you could become nearly invincible before 

Enemy/boss health now scales with waves 

Player started with ~30% damage reduction before, this has been removed 

Added a few harder waves past wave 20 

Every 10 waves, starting at wave 20, players must fight 1 more group of enemies per wave

Getting more great feedback on armorgames! It sounds like I overtuned the difficulty last patch, this one will make things a bit easier and fix some bugs 

Specific changes: 

Buffed damage items by ~75% to compensate for enemy HP scaling 

Buffed HP upgrades by ~100% 

The shop won't give you special items that you can't afford anymore 

Booming Bargain and Bomb sword bombs won't damage the player 

Special items scale with player damage; including arrows, knives, burn, and bomb damage

 Bow Sword/Bomb Sword/Flail now properly apply size upgrades, flail will gain extra links with increased size 

Removed swing speed upgrades, they were messing with the combat physics too much. Replaced their HUD space with weapon size

Fixed roll cooldown in HUD
